Fedor Emelianenko doesn't train in Russia, Russia trains in Fedor. Damn these old Chuck Norris jokes, not all of them work when applied to Fedor (or Ubereem). Let me try another: 'They say curiosity killed the cat. This is false. Fedor Emelianenko killed the cat. Every single one of them'. Not sure how that would go over with PETA or my friend who sends me emails why I'm going to hell for eating a Carne Asada. Here's another: 'Fedor Emelianenko originally wrote the first dictionary. The definition for each word is as follows - A swift overhand right to the face'. Ah, there we go.

Someone named Kyle sent me an email with a header that read 'You WILL Feature my Fedor Highlight'. As much as I wanted to ignore this guy, I chose to look at his work (which apparently took months to compile) and I've decided that any highlight that opens up with a brief history of Russian monarchy deserves a place on MiddleEasy.com. Apparently parts 'two' and 'thre'e are finished and will be released soon. If you guys like this, then I'll work with the creator on getting the other two parts on MiddleEasy. If you're not digging it, then egh, time to move on.

The problem with Fedor HL Vids is they're all exactly the same.

They all feature some combination of the following elements:

-Russian History Lesson
-Undefeated PRIDE Hightlight Reel
-Hype-worthy quotes about Fedor made by other fighter/critics
-Old school 19th Century Workout Videos
-Menacing close-ups of Fedor's expressionless face

Yeah sure, there is just so many stuff you can show... it's like Bruce Lee documentaries...

Sooner or later the sophisticated fan has seen all material there is & everything new just becomes a boring remix of known material BUT once in a while there comes a docu or HL vid along that mixes things up very well and is just refreshing and cool to watch...

I liked Kyle's work for sure and look forward to more!

Good highlight. I enjoyed the training spliced in with the CroCop fight showing Fedor applying his training; especially that leg kick he checked which set the tone for the fight.

Not currently top 3 in my opinioin until he proves otherwise (which he doesn't really care about because he is an egoless fighter), but Fedor's never been afraid to play into an opponents strength. You can't say that for GSP or Anderson Silva...

Who jumps on the ground with Nog or strikes with CropCop in their prime? Sure it got him a loss against Fabricio, which still boggles my mind almost as if he wanted to lose the god complex people gave him... He's not the best at anything, but he doesn't shy away from any type of win and always goes for the finish.

= Why Fedor will always be my favorite. A true Ambassador like Mr. Cotoure for MMA.
