- Julius Francis knocked a man out while performing his duty as a security guard in London
- The 57-year-old faced Mike Tyson in 2000
Former heavyweight boxer Julius Francis has not fought for a very long time, but that doesn’t mean that he no longer packs a punch. The 57-year-old, who was one of Mike Tyson’s former foes, proved it when he put a rowdy random man to sleep in a park in London while working as a security guard.

Effective peacemaker
As the video shows, a furious man appeared to be looking for trouble outdoors which happened to be at Boxpark, a facility near Wembley Stadium. Francis, who was on duty as security personnel at the time, stepped in between the group of men jawing at each other.
After a few moments of pushing and shoving, the enraged man ended going face-to-face with Francis. Seemingly aware that the man was likely to attack, the former heavyweight boxer swung first and landed a crunchy punch to the jaw, instantly knocking the man out unconscious.
Francis took on Tyson in the UK
It is not known when Francis began working as a security guard but he hasn’t fought professionally since 2006. He didn’t have an impressive resume, having finished his career with a record of 23-24-1. He was best known for being Mike Tyson’s British rival when “Iron Mike” flew to the U.K. in 2000.
