As of the publication of this article we have eighty eight days, or one hundred fifteen-thousand and 200 hundred minutes left on the clock until Chael Sonnen waltzes (more like struts like a tough guy) into Estádio Olímpico João Havelange in Rio de Janeiro to take Anderson Silva's belt from around the champ's waist like the Oregon gangster he is. I'm pretty sure that is one long and fairly grammatically correct sentence. What I'm also certain of is that I have been holding back my emotions for the rematch we've all wanted to see since that fateful night in August, 2010.
No longer will I keep my emotions in check for the Anderson Silva/Chael Sonnen rematch. It's on.
We are officially counting down the days, minutes, hours, seconds, to see if the 'rib injury' was true. We are waiting to see if the GOAT (and he is the GOAT) Anderson Silva can decimate Chael in short order...Or will Chael do what he did last time and punch Anderson Silva 300+ times?
This fight....This fight. That's right. I just went bold and italics. That's how much I meant my excitement in written form.
This video is Chael Sonnen's response to Anderson Silva, who told Chael to 'stop talking and start training'. It's also the busted dam of my brain. I'm going to force my wife and dog into watching UFC 117 now (again).
