If you can party like GSP, then you've probably been sent to the emergency room more than once. The night after his UFC 100 win over Thiago Alves, he admitted that he got so drunk that he forgot his whole name. I thought we had a crew drinking in Vegas. During the UFC 100 weekend, I drank so much that I forgot that I left my only credit card at Little Darling's with a stripper named 'Natasha'. Only leave your credit card at a strip club if you want a good reason to cancel it. A credit card at a strip club is a plastic donation. Fortunately for GSP, he's too busy getting his anti-mean mugging arsenal ready for his upcoming title bout with Nick Diaz to worry about miscellaneous Mastercards. You can bet that the time mma fighters mostly spend there isnt 1 on 1 with Roach, but with his other trainers, probably Alex Ariza.

At best GSP can call Freddie "Coach" for about the next month+ at most because Pacquiao/Marque z 3 is early November.

Was gonna say the same. Pretty sure he started training with Roach around his Hardy fight, that or the one before it. Either way, kinda old news, guess maybe he didnt train with him for the Shields fight?

he is fighting another cesar gracie fighter who likes to keep his arm extended and palm open in his opponents for all 5 rounds, if i was GSP i'd bring swimming goggles to the octagon. seriously though some rule has to be made about open palm strikes, coz the fans pay for it in the end because of the controversy.

i hope nick becomes the new champ, i love georges, but he has become to comfortable with squeezing out decisions, he needs to win emphatically, and for that to happen he needs to lose to get back to his senses and get his killer instinct back

I agree 100%, Unfortunately the GSP of old is gone forever. He used to be a killer but those days are loooong gone.

uhhh he just needs someone to push him, none of his past opponents have done that, nick will bring it, if gsp comes up short, there will be no doubt nick is the better man, if Nick pushes the fight, we will know for good if the GSP of old is gone.

it usually take KO for him to get back to his senses, he got comfortable after getting the belt from hughes, serra KO'd him, GSP came back aggressive, had some dominant wins up until fitch fight, then it went down hill, if something like that happens again, we will know for sure if his heart is into fighting or just olympic wrestling.

Seriously, If GSP tries and Im mean really Tries to Stand and bang with Nick, he`ll definitely have a short night and a sore face cuz he`d get Ko`d in the 1st if not the 2nd.
I figure GSP will TRY an stand with him for a couple mins. until those ``pitter patter`` shots of Nicks starts rattling his head an he cant take anymore going for a takedown. Hopefully to be met with a Kick or Knee to the Dome.
What can I say, Nicks grown on me

it bugs me that he's a kickboxer and has been focusing a ton on learning from top notch boxers but not top notch kickboxers which is more his style. he should try training in holland with some real legit some cream of the crop kickboxers. if he focuses on his boxing he'll get raped by one of the best boxer in MMA. he needs to use his kickboxing and wrestling equally to beat nick, like he did against alves and fitch. keep him guessing constantly and fuck with nick's "riddum". if he comes out like he did against jake or even koscheck he'll probably get wreck, atleast on the stand up. personally i dont think nick can really handle GSP on the ground but fuck if i know, that kids came a long way since the days of getting grapple fucked by diego sanchez and karo. plus that dudes got some cardio. so for all i know he maybe be a better grappler than BJ penn or fitch now, plus having great cardio unlike the former. speaking of which how many people think that nick is a better boxer than BJ?

Another thing to note is that in his ten UFC fights he's had four losses. It's a definite step up in competition.
