If I had $1,000 I’d probably use it to fix the power steering in my parents car. I don’t know how it broke, but I’m pretty sure it was my fault when I hit a curb at a Chick-Fil-a drive through. You’d think a power steering pump for a 20 year old car would be affordable, but that’s a myth. It’s more expensive than a top-of-the-line Sony plasma screen. At this rate, selling the car and buying another one would be a more practical idea, but it would probably require more than $1,000. In a perfect world, I could use that $1,000 to have lunch with Rich Franklin. Not sure what we’d talk about over a messy Styrofoam plate of tacos; maybe how he feels about China holding US debt hostage, or how many times each day he gets asked for Jim Carrey’s autograph.
