My neighbors are taking off for Las Vegas tonight, and they've each shelled out a cool $950 per ticket just to see Jon Jones pull off a spinning elbow as clear as possible. SeatGeek.com broke down the ticket statistics of UFC 126 and it's undeniable that the demand for UFC 126 is absolutely nuts.

• Average price $577 / 114% increase over $269 for UFC 125 in Las Vegas
• Most "affordable" tickets are going for $349 in the balcony
• Highest priced tickets, ringside are going for $4,773

Silva has a tendency to disappoint. Belfort has a tendency to disappoint. Even DFW admitted that while this fight could be amazing, it could be really horrible.

Neither Forrest nor Franklin have an exciting style.

Bader is not exciting to watch and while Jones is and definitely is main event material, I can't stand Snitch.

I didn't realize until checking Wikipedia just now that Omigawa is being shown on Spike (what happened to ION?). I thought we might miss that fight.

I gotta agree with HK. I'm not that excited either. I wanna see Griffin win, 'cause I like him, but he hasn't been that great the last few years. Franklin I just don't like.

I don't care about two Brazilians fighting for the title, though it could be an okay fight.

Bader-Jones is probably the one I'm most looking forward to, 'cause I wanna see Bader derail the Jones train.

I tried to plead my case on objective stuff as much as I could (I don't have an objective reason for Jones which is why I had to mention the subjective reason that I just don't like him) but I also do not like Franklin on a personal level. He's a young earth creationist which means he is bat shit crazy. It's so scary that someone with a master's degree in education who taught math in school to kids rejects evidence such as archeology and carbon dating.

I would love nothing more than for Bader to derail Jones' hype train but I think that is unlikely so...

Forrest has 12 UFC fights. 3 of those have ended in him getting finished. Anyone can be excitedly beat up so no credit there.

6 have ended in a decision. That leaves 3 finishes for Forrest.

The finish of Shogun was a very exciting fight but his other two finishes came against Elvis Sinosic and Bill Mahood in Mahood's first (and last!) UFC fight.

I'll give you that the first fight against Bonnar was exciting even tho it was a decision. I don't think anyone would argue that. I admit the Shogun fight was exciting. I do not think the Rampage fight was exciting but I'll give you that (or one other fight like Bonnar II).

So that's 3 exciting fights out of 12 and 1 quality exciting finish.

I stand by my previous statement.

Unlike most people I think Anderson's performance against Leites and Mai were both entertaining... Though I agree he needed to go for a finish, I think it was clear he was just bored and was levels beyond those opponents...

Prices for UFC events need to go down ... not up. I don't know about you all, but I'm strapped and don't want UFC shows to only be attend-able by Elitist pricks with money...

Hopefully bigger venues will come into play some day and keep prices decent as well as lower PPV costs a bit. Though whatever business model leads to the success of MMA and takes care of these fighters beyond retirement is fine by me.

Seriously, what fight are you not stoked on? I've been waiting for Vitor to fight Anderson forever now, and honestly think he is the best contender in the MW division. Franklin vs Forrest has the makings of an exciting fight, Bones usually makes for an entertaining fight. Torres is the man, Cowboy Cerrone is the shit, Omigawa's return, KIDS DEBUT. Franklin/Forrest has all the makings of Franklin/Wand where they will spar for 3 rounds and then there will be a decision and everyone will argue about it afterwards.

Would be excited to see Torres but not really excited to see him fight Baneulos.

Kid/Johnson I am looking forward to but I may not see it because a) I don't have a Facebook account and b) if it is on ufclive.com or whatever, I'll be at the bar so I really hope they show this fight.

I'm not excited about the prospect of Mendes holding Omigawa down for 15 minutes. I really, really hope that doesn't happen but you can see how I'm not excited with that possibility out there.

Not excited for fights involving Paul Kelly or Gabe Ruediger.

I'm excited this is Anderson Silvas first real opponent other than Hendo. Hope Vitor knocks him out.

plus there are other fights actually, Omigawa, Yamamoto, Forest, Torres, cerrone, a chance to see jesus Juice the snitch get owned, this is actually a fight card not just a tird main event with a bunch of last years TUF fighters fighting this years.

Should be decent not as excited as i am for the Fedor fight next month but still pumped.

This is crazy. I went to UFC 17 Redemption and sat in the 8th row from the Octagon. I was 6 seats away from the aisle the fighters entered. Tickets cost 50 bucks. Times have changed.
