- Rumors are floating about that Wanderlei Silva may take a couple of fights in Rizin before his career is done. Talks are Silva may even take a fight at Rizin’s New Year’s Eve show against a well known former opponent.
- Huge if true but there are now rumbling of Jon Jones making his UFC return sooner than expect. Instead of the summer of 2019, rumor is Bones Jones may be looking at a late 2018 or early 2019 UFC fight.
- Worried about injuries to Tyron Woodley or a weight cutting mishap from Darren Till the UFC has a plan, the promo has already tabbed Kamaru Usman as a replacement for either man. Usman will likely be on weight and ready during UFC 228 fight week.
- This may be the final nail in the coffin of the CM Punk to UFC experiment. The former WWE champion and 0-2 MMA fighter is now wrapped in another lawsuit. This new court case may put an end to any thoughts of him taking a third MMA fight. Rumor is more pro wrestling promos are making a push for Punk’s services.
