Nate Diaz Returns To The Octagon To Face Anthony Pettis In A Big Welterweight Bout!
UFC 241 is going to be an electrifying event as the two welterweights Nate Diaz (19-11), and Anthony Pettis (22-8) will face off inside the Octagon on August 17 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
This battle will be the co-main event as the Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic will headline the UFC 241 in a big heavyweight rematch for the title. But, the UFC is hyping up the Nate Diaz return since he hasn’t fought since UFC 202 where he was defeated by Conor McGregor via decision in a rematch back in 2016.
Diaz is a legend in the sport having some notable wins over the likes of Conor McGregor (First fight), Donald Cerrone, and Takanori Gomi. He was set to take on Dustin Poirier last November but Poirier suffered an injury but now if all goes well we’ll get to see the “Stockton Slugger” in action once again against the former UFC lightweight champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis.
