A legal action after one year
Diaz and Rodney Peterson were involved in an ugly street brawl in New Orleans last year. Peterson, a social media personality who earned the nickname “Not Logan Paul” for his remarkable resemblance to Paul, was out to sleep by Diaz in the said fight. The incident went viral which led to Diaz’s arrest and subsequent charge of second-degree battery in April 2023.
A year later, Peterson has opted to pursue legal action against the UFC legend through a civil lawsuit. Unsurprisingly, Zach Rosenfield, Diaz’s legal representative, seems to be underplaying the seriousness of the situation at this time.
Reports stated that upon learning about the civil suit, Rosenfield just replied with, “lol,” the famous acronym for laughing out loud.

Nate already has a lot to focus on
Diaz and his legal team have yet to address the issue. As of now, the MMA star-turned-boxer has got his sights locked on several target opponents.
Diaz is set to face Jorge Masvidal in a boxing match on June 1 but revealed that apart from it, he has been looking forward to a thrilling trilogy fight with Conor McGregor as well as epic rematches with “Gamebred,” Jake Paul and reigning UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards.
