Nate Diaz has made it clear that he is not ready to close the chapter on his rivalry with Conor McGregor and other big-name fighters just yet.

Nate got a hit list of rematches

Speaking to reporters at a media event at Resorts World to promote his boxing match with Jorge Masvidal, Diaz publicly stated that he believes a rematch with “Notorious” is “100% guaranteed.”

The former UFC superstar also name-dropped Jake Paul and Leon Edwards as rematch opponents currently on his “hit list.”

“I 100 percent guarantee I’m going to fight Conor McGregor again,” Diaz said. “100% guaranteed, I’m going to probably fight Jake Paul again this f**king f**ker [Masvidal] again and Leon Edwards again that’s my hit list.”

It’s the UFC’s fault

Diaz also expressed his frustration in finding a suitable opponent. According to the 38-year-old, he would’ve been active since parting ways with the UFC in 2022 but he couldn’t because most of his high-level target opponents are unavailable due to their commitments with the promotion.

“Everybody’s in the UFC right now. That’s the only reason, I would have fought three or four times a year already since I’ve been out but everyone’s locked down the box,” Diaz exclaimed.

Nate wants Leon

Though a bit far-fetched at the moment, Diaz is certain he would be pushing for a fight with Edwards. For Nate, “Rocky” is the best opponent to pursue among UFC stars at this point.

“The coolest thing right now from the UFC is Leon Edwards,” Diaz said. “That’s what I got my sights on. I like that fight right now. I think he’s doing great. I think he got better and he’s doing better. Good attitude, good fighter. I think he’s probably the best thing in the UFC right now.”

The face-off

In the event, Diaz and Masvidal hit the stage to delight the fans with an intense face-off.

Diaz will take on Masvidal in a boxing match on June 1 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. After the bout, Diaz said he’ll go back to the drawing board and see what’s next.
