Nate Diaz Had A Lot To Say After UFC 241
Almost instantaneously after beating Anthony Pettis at UFC 241, Nate Diaz was back to being his west coast gangster self. Diaz is as dangerous with a microphone in his hand as he is in the UFC octagon. With the crowd eating his every word, he used his post-fight octagon interview to call out Jorge Masvidal for the “baddest motherf**ker alive” (BMF) title.
“The reason I’m off is cause everybody sucks,” said Diaz in reference to his layoff. “But with this (BMF title)belt, I want to defend it against … Jorge Masvidal had a good a** fight.” He then proceeded to explain how the UFC lacks ‘real gangsters’ and the only ones on the roster are himself and “Gamebred.”
What Belt was Diaz talking about?
The “baddest mother**cker belt” of course. Diaz explained in detail during the UFC 241 post-fight press conference.
Diaz revealed to MMA Fighting, “I think Jorge Masvidal, besides me, is the best in the game at it (in reference be being a real fighter) and I thought Pettis was also. That’s why I asked for that fight, and I knew it was a dangerous fight. (And) that’s why I went in there with (a) kill or be killed attitude because I knew that’s what I was risking fighting him or Masvidal.”
Lastly, Diaz went on to say:
“I’m going to defend the baddest motherf**ker belt, baddest motherf**ker in the game belt against who I believe is the other baddest motherf**ker in the game.”
Gamebred Will Fight Anyone With Proper Compensation
In a scrum after UFC 241, Masvidal said he would fight anyone as long as the UFC opens the checkbook.
.@GamebredFighter can't be any more clear about the fact that he wants more 0️⃣'s added to his next paycheck.💲

“All they have to do is open up that checkbook,” said Masvidal in regards to his next opponent. “Obviously I am generating traffic… (so) that paycheck, I gotta get it, man.”
With Gamebred willing to fight anyone if the money is right, will Nate get his wish to defend his ‘BMF’ title? Both men have been transparent that they require extra monetary compensation from the UFC before anything else. If the UFC wants the super main event, they will have to open up the checkbook.
