Joe Rogan has been one of the big-name combat sports personalities who are not in favor of transwomen athletes participating in women’s sports. The sensitive issue has undeniably plagued the sporting world across the board and Rogan has grown tired of not only hearing about it but also being somewhat obliged to talk about it.
It’s messing up Women’s Sports
Commenting about the subject on his famed podcast with guest Ice Cube, Rogan said transwomen have been messing up women’s sports as the entire idea is causing a lot of unwanted and unnecessary problems.
“It’s like forced compliance. And you’re forced to comply with this,” Rogan said of transwomen athletes. “And it’s f**king up women’s sports in a huge way. Some organizations are pushing back against that, and some people are pushing back against the organizations that are pushing back against it, which to me is insane. Like if you care at all about biological women, you should be against that.”
Just stop
When Ice Cube cited that today, LeBron James could identify himself as a woman and play for the WNBA, Rogan upped the ante and pointed out that it’s very possible as he believes people who are against transwomen athletes wouldn’t be able to anything about it.
“They wouldn’t be able to stop it if he [LeBron] just decided to say publicly, ‘I identify as a woman,'” Rogan reacted. “What are they gonna do? They can’t do anything, and then that would be the end.”
Ultimately, the famous UFC commentator and podcaster urged all transwomen athletes to just stop and be true to themselves.
“It’s so crazy and there’s also different specifications, it’s like what you have to do and how long you have to take hormones before you can identify as a woman and compete as a woman like, just f**king stop,” Rogan exclaimed. “There’s a reason why there’s women’s sports, and there’s a reason why there’s men’s sports. You’re not talking about who you are, what your truth is, live your truth.”
Rogan has remained firm on his stance in the debate about transwomen athletes. Last year, he infamously blasted transgender fighter Fallon Fox after “The Queen of Swords” finished her first three opponents.
