  • Conor McGregor won €1 million after betting on Spain at the Euro 2024 on his birthday
  • “Notorious” also won $1.6 million for betting on Nate Diaz to beat Jorge Masvidal

Conor McGregor revealed his €1 million winnings for betting on Spain to win the Euro 2024.

A birthday present

Despite failing to make his highly-anticipated return at UFC 303, “Notorious” continues to make money on online betting. In fact, McGregor recently revealed that he won a whopping €1 million ($1.09 million) on his birthday.

Last month, McGregor wagered €83,500 on Spain to win the Euro 2024. The odds of his bet were balooned to 11/1, which means that “Notorious” would net a million if Spain ends up winning the cup and that’s exactly what happened. Spain defeated England in the Final, 2-1 to become the Euro 2024 champions.

Evidently pleased with his birthday present, McGregor posted the receipt on X.

“Vamos Spain! Easy money on the Spaniards to win the Euros on my birthday. A nice mill for the Mac!,” McGregor wrote.

It wasn’t Conor’s first huge win

Apart from the Euro 2024, McGregor has also bagged over one and a half million dollars in winnings after wagering $500K on Nate Diaz to beat Jorge Masvidal in their boxing match. Diaz secured a decision victory over “Gamebred” which saw the Irish MMA superstar winning $1.6 million.

McGregor suffered a foot injury weeks before his showdown with Michael Chandler at UFC 303. He has promised to come back stronger and at his best since then but the UFC has yet to commit to another date for his return. Until then, “Notorious” could spend his time on high-stakes online betting.
