GSP’s next move. Conor McGregor partying ways and more in the Sunday Morning Rumor Mill

Sunday Morning Rumor Mill GSP

So 2017 is almost over and MMA stil won’t stop going 100% MMA. 100% MMA means a steady stream of the Sunday Morning Rumor Mill running at full capacity.

In current projections hold true, MMA in 2018 could be even crazier. 2017 MMA gave us only one GSP and Bones fight, zero combined Rousey, Conor or Lesnar fights, and MMA was still off the rails for most of the past 365 days. Thanks for that Fight Gods.

As always these are rumors that have been talked about behind closed doors between MMA higher ups, so take them as MMA rumors.

Bundled next to some burning wood, sip on something that warms you and cuddle up with your Sunday Morning Rumor Mill.

  • Georges St. Pierre’s UFC middleweight title reign is over but what about his time with the UFC? Rumors are not out that not only is GSP done with fighting at 185 pounds but the Canadian GOAT may be done with the company completely. Despite the huge payment for UFC 207, rumors persist that GSP was not treated right by the promo in the lead up and aftermath of his comeback fight.
  • Rumors say Conor McGregor’s hard partying ways are starting to catch-up with him. Since his loss to Floyd Mayweather, McGregor has been on a bender rarely taking a break from “partying”. Take what you will what vice McGregor is using to partying but word is his coaches and management team are concerned with Mac hitting a “Jon Jones” type path.
  • Reports are Bellator has a lot of interest in UFC featherweight contender Cub Swanson. Don’t be surprised if Swanson is the next action fighter to make the jump from the UFC to Bellator.
  • Word is Mackenzie Dern’s next fight will be in the uFC, not Invicta. The UFC has been tracking Dern since her MMA debut. Plans are for Dern to get a “Sage/Paige” level push in the build-up for her UFC debut in 2018.
