Lots of people are excited to see Joe Rogan come back to the UFC, especially Colby Covington.

Recent Controversies

The longtime UFC commentator, podcaster and comedian has been under a lot of fire recently. Let’s just say he started 2022 off with a bang. He’d get ‘canceled’ on social media for spreading COVID-19 ‘misinformation’ on his podcast, but that wasn’t all. Cancel culture was just getting started.

Rogan would receive even more backlash when a video surfaced of him saying the N-word 24 times over the years on his podcast. He’d garner a lot of heat, but also a lot of support from the MMA community and some political figures. Following that controversy, Rogan would step away from his UFC broadcasting duties at UFC 271.

Covington Gives A Warm Welcome To Rogan

One month later and it’s been revealed Rogan will make his return to the booth at UFC 272. One half of the main event, Colby Covington, would welcome him back with open arms… ‘Chaos’ also crapped on ‘cancel culture’.

“Woah, woah, woah Joe Rogan. Before we start talking about the future, let’s talk about the present.” Covington told Rogan at the UFC 272 ceremonial weigh-ins. “It’s so great to have you back, Joe Rogan. We love you at the UFC. We miss you! F*ck cancel culture!”

Covington Disses Masvidal, Shows Love To ‘The Real Heroes’

Covington would also give Rogan a run-down of what’s to happen in his grudge match against Jorge Masvidal.

“Tonight is ‘Street Judas’s last supper. Tomorrow I’m sending him to the electric chair. I’m gonna flip the switch and fry his bum ass and electrify T-Mobile Arena like it’s never been electrified before.

Lastly before I go, I want to send a big thank you to all of the real heroes of this country, not that woke spineless coward like Lebron James. I’m talking about our real heroes, law enforcement, military, our first responders. God bless you! God bless America! God bless you all! I’ll see you tomorrow night!”
