Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal got personal tonight at the UFC 272 press conference

The friends turned foes have had a bitter rivalry for what feels like forever now, and tonight they’ve really displayed this beef is real and that fans better prepare for a banger when they throw down.

Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal Get Personal

Things immediately got dramatic as soon as the conference began.

“You ain’t gonna do sh*t bruh. Stop acting tough,” Masvidal would tell Covington before UFC president Dana White could even give the introduction.

John Morgan would proceed to ask the first question as he always does, and Colby Covington would interject.

“John, I said you couldn’t ask your questions today unless you gave me 10 push-ups. You said you had one lung the other day, it’s not my fault you ate your other lung.”

This would prompt “Gamebred” to pop in, telling “Chaos” to basically shut the f*** up and let the man talk.

The press conference would go from there containing an alarming rate of insults, threats, and surprising personal attacks.

Several times Covington would call out Masvidal for paying alimony to his ex-wife and even brought up the relationship between “Gamebred” and his children. “Chaos” even called him a socialist for receiving an “Obama” phone and taking out a PPP loan.

On the other hand, Jorge Masvidal played an audio recording of Covington claiming they were “best friends” and scoffed at the fakeness of “Chaos”. The two almost came to blows when the “Obama phone” was mentioned, and after they both leaped up from their seats, security had to quickly swarm the stage to prevent a brawl.

With things getting as heated as they did, do you think Colby Covington vs Jorge Masvidal will turn into an all-out brawl at UFC 272? Or will things remain calculated on both sides? Leave your thoughts down in the comments below!
