UFC Copenhagen and Bellator 228 were events that happened. So now MMA rumors happen.
Usually a Bellator versus UFC weekend gets MMA fan’s blood boiling. This Saturday looked average on paper and was only pretty decent in practice. So goes our favorite 365 day a year sport with no off-season whatsoever.
As always these are rumors that have been talked about behind closed doors between MMA higher ups, so take them as MMA rumors.
Hopefully your September was good, on to October, and some spooky Sunday Morning Rumor Mills.
- Rumor is Dillon Danis pulling out of ADCC is due to a longstanding back injury. Other rumors point to Danis late withdrawal due to a fear of losing early.
- Huge if true, but rumors have started to surface of CM Punk being done with MMA. Word is one last return, crazy as it sounds, to WWE may be back on the table.
- Another rumor making the rounds is Cat Zingano to Bellator. As Bellator builds its 145 division, rumor is Zingano could be the company’s next big free agent signing.
- With Wanderlei Silva in the fold, rumor BKFC is not done signing former MMA stars. Past Silva opponents like Chris Leben, Cung Le, and even Dan Henderson have had contact about doing Bare Knuckle. Silva’s first opponent will be a big name per sources.
