- Donald Cerrone is back in training and is looking jacked in new photo
- “Cowboy” seems to be enjoying his retirement life
Much like his old UFC rival Conor McGregor, Donald Cerrone has been busy pumping up some weights. The UFC veteran has been retired but that did not stop “Cowboy” from being in tip-top shape.
Back in training
In a recent social media post, Cerrone let his fans know that he’s now back in grind mode. But what stood out the most was the evident swole physique of “Cowboy.”
It didn’t take long for the MMA community to notice the 39-year-old’s transformation as remarkable comments about his new look began to flood. Former UFC PR exec Dave Sholler even likened “Cowboy” to internet sensation Liver King, who has ultimately gained popularity because of his jacked physique and ancestral lifestyle advocacies.
“Liver King OUT!,” Sholler commented.
“What’s wrong with your arms?!? You having some kind of allergic reaction?” coach John Wood of Syndicate MMA joked.
“Jacked,” UFC welterweight Sean Brady reacted.
“Swoleville,” NFL vet Derek Wolfe wrote.
Quite a retirement
Cerrone last fought at UFC 276 where he suffered a submission defeat to fellow UFC veteran Jim Miller. Right there and then, “Cowboy” called it quits and announced his retirement.
Shortly after calling it a career, Cerrone landed a lead role in the post-apocalyptic movie entitled, “Project Legion.”
It is yet to be known what “Cowboy” plans to do next, but one thing certain is that he will go down in history as one of the greatest lightweights of all time. He ended his stellar MMA career with a record of 36-17-2. Throughout his 16-year career, Cerrone faced some of the best in the sport, including Benson Henderson, Charles Oliveira, Nate Diaz, and Conor McGregor, among others.
