  • “The Demolition Man” has been finding ways to stop his daughter from being completely influenced by the things she sees on the internet

Alistair Overeem blames the so-called woke society for the her daughter’s bizarre thoughts and depression.

It’s because of the woke

Speaking to the JAXX Podcast, “The Demolition Man” opened up about the struggles he’s been facing with his oldest daughter. According to Overeem, she began to think that she’s a boy and it’s all because of the things the “woke” society has been feeding her through the internet.

“There’s a problem with the oldest though, she thinks she is my son… She is all into this woke nonsense… If it was not sad, it would be happy, funny actually. So why? [She’s] addicted to her phone, she is being brainwashed basically, six, seven, eight hours a day, [with ideas like] how you feel you are, that you can be what you want to be… This extremist left,” Overeem said.

The podcast host and UFC legend Rampage Jackson also barged in and agreed saying, “Social media changed the world, bro.”

Overeem isn’t going to let the internet take his daughter away from him

After observing what’s wrong with her daughter, Overeem figured it’s the phone that serves as the medium of the woke stuff that’s plaguing her mind. As a fighter, “The Demolition Man” said he’s not gonna succumb to it and in fact, he has begun to find ways to fight it.

“Patience, compassion, learning in that department, but I’m not going to call her a he. That’s just not [in me]. I’m a fighter. I will always fight. I’m not going to go into this, I just don’t believe that,” Overeem said.

“Reclaiming your power. What we need to do, and that’s a little bit my next chapter, is we need to put the phone away for a month. I did that actually, because of my daughter, I found it. So, my daughter’s depressed and I’m looking at the situation, there’s no drugs, there’s no strange people, there’s no wrong friends, there’s no friends at all, so that’s a problem itself so what is going on? Parents good, mother remarried, two brothers… it must be the screen,” he added.

Overeem returned to kickboxing in 2022 and beat his longtime rival Badr Hari in their trilogy match via unanimous decision. He is one of the pioneers of MMA and has been a professional since 1999. Overeem was also a former K-1 and Strikeforce champion and a UFC and Pride legend.
