Mike Tyson found himself in a scary situation during a comedy show but cooler heads prevailed.

Tyson has become a popular figure post-boxing. During the peak of his boxing career, Tyson was known as the most feared heavyweight the sport had ever seen. Today, he is renowned for turning his life around after run-ins with the law and overcoming cocaine addiction.

Mike Tyson Avoids Disaster

Fame can come with some unwanted attention. Tyson attended a small comedy show on a rooftop bar in Hollywood. Things got tense when a man showed up and allegedly challenged Mike Tyson to a fight.

Eventually, the man pulled out a gun when the host of the comedy show told him to get lost.

Fortunately, the man never fired a shot and Tyson even embraced him. TMZ is reporting that the LAPD was never called over the incident. You can check out two videos of the scary scene below:

Tyson had the itch to box again and he took on Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight back in Nov. 2020. No winner was determined but the general consensus is that “Iron” Mike looked faster and in better shape than Jones despite being out of the ring since 2005.

Time will tell if Tyson will enter the ring again. He had a brief business relationship with Triller but things went south. The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world continues to post footage of him hitting the pads and he remains sharper than most would expect for a 55-year-old.
