Following his loss to Tommy Fury, ‘The Nightmare’ has released a statement reaffirming his belief that he should have won the fight.
“Appreciate all the kind messages from everyone. In the ring and watching it back I feel like I should have won. Either way I feel like I accomplished what I wanted to in the end. This little untalented nerd was able go toe to toe with a professional boxer. Use me as the living proof that hard work and self belief can get you anywhere in this life ❤️.” KSI wrote on Instagram.
KSI expressed his post-fight feelings, believing he should have won.

But KSI didn’t stop there; he openly shared his true feelings when talking to Fury post-fight, as seen on KSI NEWS.
“How many jabs did you land,” he asked Fury. “You didn’t get hardly any shots off… You weren’t landing! You weren’t landing! Look at your face, look at your eyes! Look at you! I understand, I’m the YouTuber and you’re the boxer, you have to win. It’s all good.”

The accusations of a robbery weren’t limited to KSI, as numerous other influencers also backed his claim.
Despite the loss, the transition from YouTuber to boxer demonstrated that KSI could hold his own against someone with significantly more experience in the sport. In some respects, one could argue that KSI gained more than he lost.
It remains uncertain whether there will be a rematch between the two, but Fury has shown his lack of enthusiasm for facing influencers in the boxing ring.
