Emanating from the AO Arena, social media star KSI returned to the squared circle for a clash with undefeated boxing standout Tommy Fury in the main event of Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ in Manchester, England.

Stepping into the ring eight months removed from his split decision win over Jake Paul, Tommy Fury will look to extend his undefeated streak to 10 against KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji. For KSI, the bout will be his first professional boxing contest since defeating Logan Paul via a split decision in 2019.

Round 1

Things start chaotic with KSI bouncing around and looking to lunge in as Fury puts on the pressure and swings big looking for an early finish to the night. They clinch up and both fighters do some dirty boxing. Upon the break, KSI lands a big right hand that stumbles Fury back a bit. KSI continues to lunge in for strikes. Both fighters clinch up and Fury appears to land a nasty shot to the back of the head of KSI that brings a pause to the action. No point is taken from Fury as the round resumes with less than a minute to go.

KSI throws a big looping right hand that misses the mark. Fury again closes the distance and they clinch up, landing a few blows to the body before being broken up. A body shot from KSI lands as the first round ends.

Round 2

KSI doesn’t put his hands up and immediately pays for it in the opening seconds, eating a big right hand from Fury. KSI again moves in and initiates a clinch. Fury lands another strike to the back of the head. This time, the referee takes a point from Fury. A right hand from KSI lands and both men stand in the phone booth and trade blows. Fury seems content to clinch and try to tire out KSI as they head toward the later rounds, but thus far, KSI has now shown any signs of slowing.

The referee issues a warning to Fury for continuously clinching and the two resume with KSI landing another solid right hand. They clinch and the round ends as the two are separated. It appears that the clock was not stopped during the point deduction, making the second round feel unusually short.

Round 3

KSI again comes out throwing a big looping right hand that comes nowhere close to landing. Fury clinches and both men are separated once again. Fury puts on the pressure prompting KSI to clinch. They do a little dirty boxing before being split up. KSI again throws a looping right. Fury responds with a solid left that tags KSI. They continue to dirty box in close, but they’re separated when Fury appears to land on the back of KSI’s head once again, though this time the referee does not take a point and only issues a warning.

KSI tries to take advantage and move in quickly, catching Fury off guard but is unable to land clean. The round ends with Fury ducking and clinching as the bell sounds.

Round 4

Fury comes out and immediately lands a jab. The fight continues with the fighters throwing a few strikes before clinching up, forcing the referee to step in and separate them every 2-3 seconds. A right hand just misses for KSI. Fury attempts to fire back with a right hand of his own but misses the mark. A right hook from KSI partially lands. They once again clinch. The referee steps in and the round comes to a close with very little action aside from clinching.

Round 5

Through four rounds, both fighters have landed 26 significant strikes. KSI moves in close and looks to land some big right hands on the inside. The bout is bordering on unwatchable with KSI and Fury opting to clinch up every few seconds. With 60 seconds to go in the round, the referee calls for action, but seconds later, is forced to step in and separate them once again. Another warning from the referee, but nothing changed. With seconds to go in the round, both fighters connect clean, but neither are able to capitalize before the round comes to an end.

Round 6

With the bout relatively close, both fighters look to pick up the pace a bit, but that doesn’t stop them from continuing to clinch up. KSI dances around, Fury throws, KSI ducks under, and clinches. Fury lands a right hand as KSI pops his head back up. Fury lands a short left hook as they are once again separated by the referee. With a minute to go, neither man seems interested in going for broke. Fury approaches, KSI clinches, rinse, and repeat. KSI lands a solid right and Fury attempts to bat him away. KSI dances away as the final seconds tick off the clock, bringing a close to the contest.
