It seems “AJ” couldn’t recover, as he significantly slowed down. The Mexican boxer dethroned English KO artist after a stoppage in the seventh round. The match was held inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
Anthony Joshua’s WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles were on the line. After this win, Andy Ruiz Jr. was promoted to the new unified Heavyweight champion.
