Deontay Wilder Punched His Way Through Dominic Breazeale!

An undefeated champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (41-0-1, 40 KOs) made the successful ninth defense of the WBC Heavyweight title against Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale (20-2, 18 KOs) via violent one-punch knockout at 2:17 of the first round. The two met inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York last night (Saturday, May 18, 2019) and the event went live on Showtime PPV.

Deontay Wilder was the favorite in this match, but nobody expected Dominic Breazeale would go down like a sack of potatoes so early on. The super-brutal punch Wilder delivered would put even Vladimir Klitschko or Anthony Joshua to sleep.

Check the brutal KO below.

The Alabama-born slugger feinted with a left jab and landed a tremendous right hand to the face of Breazeale. The referee Harvey Dock counted to 10 and stopped the contest. Despite Dominic stood up, he looked heavily rocked and the ref waved off the match.

After the match, Breazeale claimed Dock might have called off the bout a bit too early, but he didn’t protest the stoppage.

Before victory over Dominic Breazeale, Deontay Wilder earned a controversial draw against dangerous undefeated English prospect Tyson Fury to retain the title. On the other side, “Trouble” turned the lights out on the Puerto Rican Carlos Negron in the ninth round.
