Petr Yan gave his opponent Aljamain Sterling a stern warning during the UFC 273 media day.
It’s On Sight
There is absolutely no love lost between the fighters in the co-main event this Saturday at UFC 273. It’s been a year of bickering back and forth between Yan and Sterling, and they only have to wait three more days. However, during UFC 273 media day, Yan gave his opponent and team a warning.
“If we will see his team, we kill his team. Right now, not Saturday,” Yan told reporters.

Damn. Harsh pre-fight talk. It may not be Masvidal vs. Covington, but it looks like it’s on sight for the two bantamweights.
Sterling Responds
Sterling didn’t seem to be bothered by it. In fact, he laughed off the threat and said he is in the same hotel and they do something if need be.
“I have not seen him. I honestly kind of want to see him just to see what would happen,” Sterling said. “I mean, I’m calm, cool and collected, so I go off the energy he brings. If he thinks it’s going to be on, then I’m ready. I’m more than ready. I’m ready now, I’m ready Saturday. If you really wanna do something, I’m right here. I’m in the same hotel as you. You can find me. If you want, I can give you my room number.”

Technically, they will see each other before the fight at the UFC 273 press conference on Thursday. Will something pop off?
