Video: Fighter shows up to the weigh-ins with a midget in a bag to psych out opponent

Stephan Puetz weigh in

No words. Stephan Puetz you have left MiddleEasy speechless. The majority of this post was spent researching the proper term on what to call a little person.

Little person? Dwarf? Midget? No matter what term we picked we were going to feel horrible about using it. If we miss an obvious one we’re going to feel like huge assholes. Thanks for that Puetz.

We don’t know what sort of next level mind games Stephan Puetz was trying to pull here. But we are 100% fully into it.

Okay Google define Mixed Martial Arts. It’s this weigh in video from the main event of German MMA Championship 16 in Cologne, Germany. There are bringing props to a weigh-in to set yourself apart then there is whatever the hell Stephan Puetz was thinking here.

Everyone else in the MMA weigh-in game is playing checkers while Puetz is out here playing 3-D chess underwater while wearing a blindfold. There are levels to this game and our dude SP just broke the scale.

Facing off with Jan Gottvald (7-1) for the German MMA Championship light heavyweight ten pounds of gold, Puetz (15-4) used another human being as his weigh in prop. All the props in the world for that one SP.

Is that a suitcase or a duffel bag? Are there air holes in it? Did Puetz make that little person stay in the bag throughout the whole trip? If the Fight Gods are real Puetz also let the dwarf corner him during his title fight.

How can Gottvald not be shook after that? The weigh in game just changed and now stuffing other human beings in bags for a surprise reveal is 100% encouraged.
