Sean O’Malley was kicked out of a high-end restaurant for violating their dress code.

‘Sugar’ recently went out for a nice dinner in Scottsdale, Arizona. The number one ranked UFC bantamweight showed up at Ocean 44, hoping to feast on some luxurious steak and seafood. Unfortunately, the restaurant has a strict dress code of Elegant Casual, which O’Malley was not prepared for. The 28-year-old explained the situation in a video by saying:

“I went to Ocean 44 right across the street and I walk in looking good as f**k like I usually do. They go, ‘Uh, sir, we can’t serve you, we have a dress code.’ I said, ‘B***h, do you know who the f**k I am?’ I didn’t say that, so we came across the street to Toca Madera and they’re hookin’ us up with free food because they know who the f**k I am, so f**k you Ocean 44.”

O’Malley’s reaction video received mixed responses. Some people felt he was self-entitled and arrogant, while others thought the restaurant should have made an exemption for his dress code violation. Luckily, ‘Sugar’ found a Mexican steakhouse called Toca Madera to enjoy his dinner.

What’s next for Sean O’Malley?

Sean O’Malley last fought against Petr Yan at UFC 280 in October. The 28-year-old secured a split decision win to earn the number one bantamweight ranking. He now waits to see how the next title fight plays out.

Reigning champion Aljamain Sterling was expected to fight Henry Cejudo in March before ‘Funk Master’ revealed he has a bicep tear that will postpone the bout. The bantamweight division is now waiting for an update. Sterling hasn’t decided if he’s going to get the surgery or not. The 33-year-old also stated that he would fight through the injury again if he weren’t fighting a wrestler like Cejudo.

Meanwhile, O’Malley is holding out for a title fight. He has mentioned a hypothetical interim championship fight against Cejudo, but it doesn’t seem to be materializing. Several elite contenders are also getting closer to a title shot, including Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen, who are scheduled to fight on February 18. Needless to say, the UFC bantamweight is arguably the most stacked division on the planet.
