Nate Diaz may be moving on to his next money fight. According to his brother Nick Diaz, Nate is in talks to fight Anthony Pettis in his next UFC fight. We’re only a few dots away from a potential Showtime Kick versus Stockton Slap signature move standoff.
If Diaz isn’t going to get the winner of Conor McGregor versus Rafael dos Anjos after UFC 197, a striking super-fight isn’t a bad substitute. The UFC lightweight dominos began to fall when Tony Ferguson was booked to take on Michael Johnson, leaving the top five crew of Eddie Alvarez, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Diaz, and Pettis without a dancing partner this spring. A shit talking Diaz brother versus the WEC version of Pettis could be a beautiful dance.
.@MiddleEasy news: Nick Diaz himself doesn't have a fight lined up, but according to Nick, Nate is in talks for a potential Pettis fight.

Ferguson-Johnson 2 being booked leads me to then book: Alvarez vs Khabib and Pettis vs Nate Diaz. That's just by process of elimination.
