UFC lightweights Nate Diaz and Clay Guida were allegedly involved in a tussle while attending a Combate Americas event on behalf of their teammates, who were competing on the card.
Ultimate Fighter 27 contestant Tyler Diamond found himself in the middle of the fray, and live-tweeted what happened between Diaz and Guida.
I was talking face to face with Clay, he got pushed & I saw Nate & about ten other dudes so I stepped up with my arms out trying to descalate the situation & Nate then slapped me while one of his groupies rabbit punched me.

Reports of the altercation say Guida was left bloodied from the skirmish. Representatives for both fighters did not return questions for a comment on the incident.
The scuffle seems likely to stemmed from Guida calling out Diaz back in March for a rematch from their meeting at UFC 94 and calls him ‘what’s up 209 bitch’.
Diaz hasn’t stepped into the Octagon since losing the rematch to Conor McGregor at UFC 202. Rumors of a fight against Georges St-Pierre at UFC 227 in August have been reported, but Diaz himself shut that down this week.
Meanwhile, Guida is coming off of a quick and brutal knockout over Joe Lauzon back in 2017.
