Renato Moicano delivered another all-time post-fight interview following his latest UFC win.
In Nov. 2022, Moicano became a fan favorite by delivering his unforgettable ‘Money Moicano’ post-fight interview following a first-round submission win against Brad Riddell. Unfortunately, injuries plagued the Brazilian in 2023, leading to him losing momentum during a fifteen-month layoff.
On Saturday night, the 34-year-old ranked lightweight returned to action by facing Drew Dober in the UFC Vegas 85 co-main event. Although his performance wasn’t overly exciting, Moicano grappled his way to a unanimous decision win against a tough opponent.
Shortly after getting his hand raised, Moicano joined Daniel Cormier for his post-fight interview and didn’t disappoint. ‘Money Moicano’ started by revealing he wants to have a third child in the near future:
“My father is 62 years old, and he had a baby yesterday. I’m telling him tomorrow when I get home, I’m going to get my wife pregnant another time. Because if my f*cking father, 62 years old, can populate the world, I can too. ‘Money Moicano’ [the third] is coming.”
Renato Moicano plans to join SWAT team after fighting to “kill the bad guy” in America
Renato Moicano proved he has plenty of gas left in the tank after winning his second consecutive fight. With that said, the 34-year-old has been in the UFC since 2014, and he’s already preparing for what’s next once he retires down the road.
During the previously mentioned post-fight interview, Moicano had this to say about wanting to become an American citizen and join the SWAT team:
“I love f*cking America. I’m not American but I will be. My green card is three years, in two years I will be a f*cking American. After I’m done with fighting, I will serve as a police officer. I want to be on the SWAT team, and I want to f*cking kill the bad guys. Make no mistake, there is right, and there is f*cking wrong and people are forgetting about that. People are going crazy.”
Renato Moicano is the number thirteen-ranked UFC lightweight, but he might move up following his win against Drew Dober. Assuming Moicano can stay healthy, 2024 could be a big year for the Brazilian, as a top-ten matchup is a possibility for his next Octagon appearance.
