Nick Diaz Denied Jorge Masvidal Fight, Took Aim At Tyron Woodley, “T-Wood” Fired Back

Nick Diaz Turned Down Talks Of Jorge Masvidal Fight, Said He’d “Walk Through” Tyron Woodley, “The Chosen One” Replied: “I’ll F*ck This Guy Up”

In November of this year, Dana White said that the former Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz would return for a fight versus Jorge Masvidal at UFC 235. It sounded like joyful news for his fans. Only a few days ago, the UFC president said the match was still on.

But it looks like Nick Diaz Vs Jorge Masvidal won’t happen! Diaz claims he has never agreed to the match against “Gamebred”. (h/t BJPenn.com)

“I think it’s rude of the UFC to try and lowball me and expect me to negotiate a deal while I’m training for a fight,” Diaz said via text message to ESPN. “It’s not gonna go down like that. If anybody wants to fight me they know where to find me. I’m not a hard guy to find. Come get some.”

Here’s the second part of Nick’s statement.

“I have a lot going on trying to manage a few different businesses. Once things make sense for everybody in that they actually have some fighters that they respect and I respect, we can try and come to a deal and do a show. That’s how I feel.”

Nick Diaz said on many occasions that there was no problem towards Jorge Masvidal. But he repeats one thing – he has never even talked about the match against “Gamebred”.

“As soon as I am in a good place with what I’m working on and things look the way it should, I’ll be happy to give the fans what they need. But I think they will be OK for now with what’s out there. There aren’t any fights for me until someone stands out. I’ll fight if they can be more reasonable, but, really, I didn’t even talk about what it would or could [take]. They are the one’s tripping.”

Nick Diaz ended by claiming he’d “walk through” the UFC Welterweight title holder Tyron Woodley.

“I’ll walk through Woodley,” Diaz stated. “He knows it. I didn’t need to say [in response to him]. That man has a life. I fight for one, like I always have.”

Tyron Woodley quickly fired back on his Twitter account.

“I’ll fuck Nick up and the world knows it. He punch drunk and washed up”, Woodley wrote.

As well as you know, UFC Welterweight division is currently stacked up with contenders. Colby Covington is the most serious candidate for the title fight. But don’t forget Kamaru Usman, who dominated Rafael dos Anjos at the main event of TUF 28.

Can Nick Diaz somehow get a chance to fight Tyron Woodley? If that happens, who’d win? Leave your comments.
