Nate Diaz has weighed in on the fantasy matchup between billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.

The hoopla got started when Musk hopped on Twitter to say he’d be open to a “cage fight” against Zuckerberg. The Facebook co-founder responded on Instagram by mentioning a quote from UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov, “Send me location.”

Plenty of MMA fighters have offered to help train both Musk and Zuckerberg. Some have picked a side simply due to political views, while others are offering assistance due to a prior friendship. During a road edition of “The MMA Hour,” Nate Diaz told Ariel Helwani that he doesn’t even think such a fight should take place.

“I really don’t have a preference,” Diaz said. “I think they’re both ─ isn’t one way older than the other? I don’t think they should fight. I think they should be nice to each other and they should do something with fighting, but you don’t need to be fighting.

Diaz’s Future After Jake Paul Fight

Nate Diaz was then asked if what he’ll do next involves MMA. The Stockton native has a pretty good idea, despite not wanting to look past his August 5 boxing match with Jake Paul.

“Yeah, probably,” Diaz said. “I’m not thinking past this right now. I said I’ll get that done and know what I wanna do. I have ideas.”

As far as which promotion Diaz sees himself in upon his MMA return, the former UFC title challenger is looking at familiar territory.

“It’s probably either be back in the UFC or do something like this in the MMA style or boxing style, either one I don’t know yet. That’s what I mean.”

Jake Paul has an MMA deal under the PFL. “The Problem Child” has offered to have an MMA rematch with Diaz. The Stockton native doesn’t appear to be interested in fighting for PFL.

“I don’t fight for that organization,” Diaz said. “If we’re gonna do something, we’re gonna do something real.”
