Nate Diaz Becomes The Latest Victim Of Ben Askren
Nate Diaz still holds grudges against Khabib Nurmagomedov, and both have gone back and forth on social media over the last few years.
If you remember, back in 2015 at a World Series of Fighting show back in Las Vegas Diaz brothers got into an altercation with Khabib’s camp that involved, kicks, slaps and even beer being launched at each other. The matter did not escalate from there, but the bad blood is still there.
Yesterday Nate Diaz mocked UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov by posting an old group picture of sambo practitioner in a bath tub on social media.
Sambo?
Former Bellator and ONE champion Ben Askren couldn’t hold on and take a dig at Nate Diaz’s tweet.
Tell me the boys in Stockon haven’t done this a time or two after a hard training session.

The Nate Diaz’s longtime teammate Jake Shield jumped in and said to Askren this kind of thing would get you in trouble.
Ben you know you will get slapped in the 209 for even insinuating something like this

‘Funky’ was quick to fire back said to Jake you would get stabbed in Dagestan.
Sure in the 209 you get slapped, in Dagestan you will get stabbed. Didn’t stop Nate from insinuating. I like you Jake, but try again.

Diaz didn’t step foot inside the Octagon since his majority decision loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 202 back in 2016. The Stockton native lightweight was supposed to fight at UFC 230 against Dustin Poirier, but the bout scrapped after ‘The Diamond’ was forced to pull out due to injury.
Meanwhile, Khabib he’s currently sitting on sidelines serving NSAC nine-month suspension for instigating a post-fight brawl with Conor McGregor at UFC 229.
