Molly McCann has been one of the fastest rising stars in recent months. With the UFC visiting London twice since the beginning of the year, McCann and her pal Paddy Pimblett have become fan favorites. Her fun attitude and flamboyant celebrations added to the fact that she is on a winning streak have left fans asking for more. It seems as if they are getting just that, more McCann.
McCann was a guest on the ‘Unlocking the Cage’ podcast and let it slip that she has her next fight offer on the table.

“I’ve just been offered someone actually so I will wait and people will know very, very soon. It will be before the year’s out,” McCann said.
Although McCann would not reveal who the opponent is, she said it would be before the end of the year. Fighting two times in a row at home in England was a great experience for McCann, but she stated afterward that she would like to travel a bit. There have been rumors that she and Pimblett could be added to the massive New York card that will be held in Madison Square Garden in November. She and Pimblett are a package deal and both would be great additions to that event.
McCann has been called out recently by Miranda Maverick and has made a callout of her own to Antonina Shevchenko. It would be logical that it is one of those two names, of it could be someone completely different. Since her last win, McCann has made her first appearance in the UFC rankings at number 15. She is grateful to be included in a group of women considered to be possible future opponents for the champ.
“It’s an honor to be in that conversation I just have to give consistent performances now to prove I am who I say I am. I know I’ll get there one day,” McCann said. “You know I believe it, I think people believe that I can. There are only a few contenders left in the 125 division who she hasn’t fought so it’s just a matter of time.”
Who and where McCann fights next should be disclosed soon. The big events for the fall are beginning to book up now, and if she has been made an offer, these things tend to be leaked quickly, especially when people are interested as they are with McCann.
