Former UFC fighter and current BKFC star Mike Perry recently called Hunter Campbell to suggest a UFC 300 showdown with Nate Diaz.

Perry has never been one to shy away from big opportunities. “Platinum” has made the most of his time outside the UFC. While he left the promotion having gone 3-7 in his last 10 outings, Perry has found new life in bare knuckle fighting. He is a perfect 4-0 under the BKFC banner.

In his most recent BKFC fight in late 2023, Perry defeated former UFC lighweight champion Eddie Alvarez via second-round TKO due to a corner stoppage.

Mike Perry Rings Hunter Campbell For UFC 300 Fight Suggestion Involving Nate Diaz

During an edition of the OverDogs podcast, Mike Perry phoned UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell and suggested a UFC 300 fight against Nate Diaz.

“Nate Diaz says there’s no one to fight on UFC 300, I’m saying me and Nate, y’all can bring me back for the little purse and then throw in the PPV points and then we can have a great show for UFC 300,” Perry said.

Campbell responded, and it doesn’t look like he was convinced to book that fight for the UFC’s biggest show of 2024.

“I got a better idea,” Campbell said. “Why don’t your guys talk to f*cking Nate and get him to go over and fight you there?”

Perry responded by admitting he doesn’t think such a fight would happen under bare knuckle rules.

“I don’t think he wants to do the bare knuckle thing,” Perry said. “He wants a better shot with the jiu-jitsu.”

Campbell then praised Perry, saying that he’s built for bare knuckle fighting. He also asked what he’s allowed to do under the BKFC banner, to which Perry replied by saying, “anything.”
