Mike Perry is confident he will replace Dillon Danis and fight Logan Paul

On October 14, Paul and Danis are scheduled for a six-round fight at arguably the biggest influencer boxing event of all time. Due to Danis’ unpredictable behavior and reputation for pulling out of fights, Misfits Boxing announced Perry would be the backup for the co-main event of “The Prime Card.”

The intense rivalry matchup is currently still on, but Danis’ social media antics toward Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal, have created concerns. During an exclusive interview with MiddleEasy, Mike Perry had this to say about whether or not he expects to fight on October 14:

“They are playing with me every day on social media. They post something, ‘Oh, Dillon Danis didn’t go to court, he isn’t gonna go to the fight, he’s got a restraining order, how is he gonna go to the fight if Nina [Agdal] is there.’ We will see what happens…Yeah, I do think I will be fighting [on October 14]. It might be a hard letdown, but I’ve been preparing.”

Mike Perry plans to chase down and pummel Logan Paul in potential boxing match

Most people don’t think Logan Paul will pull out of his fight against Dillon Danis. Therefore, the expectation is Mike Perry would take Danis’ spot if something were to happen. During the same exclusive interview with MiddleEasy, Perry detailed his expectations for a potential matchup against Paul:

“Me and Logan would fight six [rounds]. I think he’s gonna try to run…What I did see was that his face looks like he ain’t gonna take too many shots from me. If I can dig into his face and hurt him and try to find some body shots, even in six and ten-ounce gloves, I just feel like I can hurt him…”

Perry concluded by saying:

“He’s a little stiff white boy, for sure. If I get the fight, man, I’m gonna do what everyone wants me to do, what everyone expects me to do, everyone online is like, ‘Mike is gonna go in there and kill him. Mike is gonna go in there and knock him the f*ck out. That’s exactly what I’m gonna do…I’m gonna go in there, I’m not gonna back up. I’m gonna chase him down, I’m gonna put him in the corner, and I’m gonna pummel him and beat him up.”

Mike Perry parted ways with the UFC after a unanimous decision loss against Daniel Rodriguez in April 2021. Since then, ‘Platinum’ has become a superstar in bare-knuckle boxing by securing BKFC wins against Julian Lane, Michael ‘Venum’ Page, and Luke Rockhold.
