Mike Perry will be remaining a bare-knuckle fighter.

Perry signed with BKFC in 2021 after his UFC departure and had immediate success in the promotion. He made his debut in February 2022 and beat Julian Lane by decision and then followed that up with a decision win over Michael Page. In his next fight, Perry scored a TKO win over Luke Rockhold in a massive fight for BKFC and it was revealed after the event, that Perry had fought out his contract.

As ‘Platinum’ was a free agent, many wondered what his next step would be. Some fans were hoping he would return to the UFC, but on Wednesday, BKFC announced they have re-signed Mike Perry to a new multi-fight deal.

“I am absolutely thrilled to make the announcement today of ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry re-signing with BKFC,” said David Feldman, President and Founder of BKFC in a statement. “His presence in our promotion has truly galvanized the company. For the last couple of months, I’ve been contacted every day from fans and the media inquiring about when he was fighting next. With this announcement today, we can finalize plans for his highly anticipated return to the squared circle”

Mike Perry returns to BKFC

As of right now, it’s uncertain when Mike Perry will return to the squared circle and have his fourth fight in BKFC.

However, the good news for BKFC and their fans is the fact that Perry is back in the promotion where he has had a ton of success and said this is his new home.

“The money’s got to make sense for them and make sense for me. They’re like, ‘Do you want belts or do you want money?’ Well, I want to feed my family. I gave myself a belt and man I’m putting more credit – put some respect on me and the ‘Platinum’ bareknuckle boxing belt, because dammit, I’m doing it out here. I’m up in the air because that was my last fight on contract. I’m free from everybody, but I love bareknuckle boxing,” Perry said after his win over Rockhold.

In his MMA career, Mike Perry is 14-8 and went 7-8 inside the Octagon.
