Video: Mayhem Miller Invents New Weight Class by Showing Up 24lbs Heavy

Mayhem gonna’ Mayhem. It’s one of the reasons why people are still interested in Jason “Mayhem” Miller. No matter what we say, we all tune into the Mayhem Show because part of us wants to see what he’ll do next. Unfortunately, he just recently showed up to his Venator weigh-ins 24lbs overweight for his fight with Luke Barnatt. …A fight which is canceled.

It sure didn’t take the internet long to comment on Mayham- I mean, Mayhem’s extreme weight discrepancy. Which is large enough for Johny Hendricks to be impressed. Somewhere, Rumble Johnson is even shaking his head.

Mayhem showed up 209lbs for his fight at 185lbs. …That’s four pounds heavier than Light Heavyweight for a Middleweight fight. That truly is Mayhemweight. Well, there is quite a giant gulf from Light Heavyweight to Heavyweight. Maybe Mayhem Miller is just ahead of his time and just chose the wrong moment to debut it.

Either way, check out weigh-in video below. Luke Barnatt will now fight Stefan Croitoru, who made Middleweight for another fight according to Ariel Helwani.
