Video Shows Chinese MMA Fighter “Mad Dog” Xu Xiaodong Beating Up Another Old Dude

Chinese MMA’s “Mad Dog” Xu Xiaodong is back at it again. The amateur MMA fighter once again is taking a liking to beating up self proclaimed “Kung Fu” masters.

This time, the event apparently took place in the Uygur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang, in a city named Karamay. Xu’s opponent goes by the name of Lv Gang. The older, smaller gentleman claims to be a “pressure point Wing Chun master.” He also can allegedly trace his lineage to the legendary Ip Man.

Check out the video of the short bout below:

Ouch.

The “fight” lasted just over a minute. With very few exchanges, Xu Xiaodong destroyed Gang. The face paint wearing Xu blasted Lv Gang with strikes, until the referee stopped the fight.

This bout is just the latest in a campaign by Xu Xiaodong to “exploit fakery” in martial arts. It is his belief that traditional martial arts are essentially useless in the modern world. Xu started by destroying a tai chi master in a viral video, and includes a match against a Wushu practitioner.

Xu Xiaodong has been pushing for this crusade since making a post of Chinese social media. Here, he offered cash rewards for any traiditional martial artist who could beat him in a fight. Although many responded, few fights have materialized.

Although Xu Xiaodong may have a valid point about traditional martial arts, beating up smaller, older dudes may not be the way to prove it. Perhaps he could attempt to take on a real challenge one day.
