Joe Rogan Offers To Cover Costs Of Medical Procedure For A Fighter

Opinions of UFC commentator Joe Rogan vary from person to person. However, it is hard to argue that he is a good person, with a big heart.

Rogan is a man of many talents. From the most familiar voice of UFC commentary, to his many stand up comedy specials, and huge podcast. However, it was made known recently, that he is also just a generally good person.

Miriam Nakamoto took to her Instagram recently, to display those sentiments. Nakamoto is an Invicta fighter, who has been riddled with injuries since 2013. Apparently, she was fighting Lauren Murphey when she suffered a pretty serious knee injury. Subsequently, the cost of the treatment was too high, which has kept Nakamoto out of competition. However, according to a screenshot from a conversation with Rogan, that she posted, that won’t be the case much longer.

“So …this happened today. I’m struggling to find the words. I’ve been trying to make a comeback for almost 6 years now. I’ve come close a few times. But I kept having difficulty with my knee. There’s not much to be down with a grade 3 lesion on a meniscus besides stem cell therapy. I didn’t have $30,000 so I did the best that I could, but I still always came up short. And then this happens today. I’m still in shock. Thank you Joe Rogan. See you soon Dr. Riordan!”

What an amazing thing for Joe Rogan to do. He has offered to not only pay for the treatment, but even the cost of flying her to the specialist. This is an undeniably kind thing to do.

Joe Rogan may be a bit wacky, and say some crazy things. Despite that, there is no argument that he takes care of people when he sees an opportunity.
