Joe Rogan Shuts Down Liver King's Request To Be On The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast.

Joe Rogan has no interest in having Liver King on his podcast.

Brian Johnson, aka Liver King, is a 45-year-old social media personality who promotes an ancestral diet. Johnson used to claim to be all-natural before a leaked email exposed the various steroids he consumes frequently. Liver King apologized in a YouTube video and wanted to appear on Rogan’s podcast to discuss his steroid usage.

Rogan doesn’t seem interested in Liver King being on his podcast. The UFC commentator had this to say on episode #1744 of the Joe Rogan Experience with Derek from More Plates More Dates, who was the one to expose Johnson:

“He was front row at one of my shows in Vegas at the MGM. Then I saw him again at the Canelo fight. He was trying real hard to get on the podcast and he’s been trying really hard to get on now. He contacted a few friends of mine and some of them like Bert Kreischer that have had him on their show. For what? Say that [apology] more? Like come on, this is dumb, man. This is a f**king, you ran a con game and you got busted. It’s unfortunate that you feel terrible, I’m sorry you feel bad cause that’s just what happens when you get caught lying. But you didn’t have to lie.”

Most people assumed Liver King was on steroids, but the backlash came from Johnson promoting himself as all-natural to help grow his brand. It wouldn’t be shocking to see Rogan end up having Liver King on his podcast after the massive controversy that has spread into the mainstream media.

Joe Rogan calls Liver King’s apology ‘corny’

Liver King didn’t take long after his emails were leaked to post an apology video on YouTube. In the video, Brian Johnson admitted to his steroid use and seemed to be hoping for sympathy. Joe Rogan wasn’t satisfied with his apology. Rogan had this to say on the same podcast episode with Derek from More Plates More Dates:

“You know what the problem is? Sometimes people don’t hang out with people who are smarter than them and you think you’re the smartest person or maybe because he’s running this company, people have to listen to him. So, he has a distorted perception of his ability to communicate and his ability to convince people. That was so theatrical and so corny.”

Liver King made several MMA event appearances in 2022, including the PFL and Bellator. MMA fighters continued to ridicule Johnson after being exposed, with Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez chiming in. It’ll be intriguing to see if Liver King falls off or if his platform grows after being caught using steroids.
