Dillon Danis confirmed that he’s filing an appeal to the Professional Boxing Association (PBA) regarding his DQ loss against Logan Paul

On Saturday, October 14, Danis and Paul met inside the AO Arena in Manchester, England, for a six-round boxing match following an intense fight buildup. After nearly six rounds of getting battered, ‘El Jefe’ was disqualified due to an attempted takedown and guillotine attempt.

Danis quickly returned to social media and began disputing his loss. During the final round, one of Paul’s bodyguards temporarily entered the ring. Therefore, the former jiu-jitsu world champion believes the WWE superstar should have been disqualified instead of him.

‘El Jefe’ shared on Twitter that he will be appealing the official decision:

“There was multiple offenses I’ll be submitting my appeal to the commission today.”

Following his disappointing performance, Dillon Danis has continuously discredited Logan Paul’s win. It’ll be intriguing to see if Danis can silence the doubters by getting his appeal approved.

Fans react to Dillon Danis filing an appeal for his loss against Logan Paul

Dillon Danis was once one of the most disliked people in the MMA community. Yet, he managed to win over a lot of fans due to his pre-fight trash talk toward Logan Paul. Unfortunately for him, those same people seem to be turning on him again due to his recent performance.

Once Danis announced his appeal decision on Twitter, fans filled the comment section with various responses, including the following people:

“Bro just give up , the fight is over”

“This is a legitimate way to be DQ’d. Sad how Logan was so scared of foul play that he must have had them on high alert , you can’t defend yourself bro ? Even just for a second ? I mean they were right there the whole time. Shook.”

“You never stood a chance”

“Just stop embarrassing yourself”

“If this motherf*cker wins the appeal hell be known as the greatest troll of all time”

“Instead of endless talk and tweets, Danis should’ve prioritized his training. It seems he landed more punches on security than on Logan. Talk is cheap, after all.”

Regardless of his appeal, it’s unclear what’s next for Dillon Danis. The 30-year-old has skyrocketed his social media following in the past few months but also wasn’t overly impressive in the ring. With that said, it could be interesting to see him return to MMA and utilize his submission skills.
