Conor Mcgregor In Trouble Again After Assaulting A Guy At Dublin Bar

Conor Mcgregor’s list of dirty laundry is getting bigger. As last month he was arrested on two felony charges after stomping on fan’s cell phone and walking away with it in Miami. This past week news reported that his felony charges on this case reduced to one.

Currently, Mcgregor is serving six months of suspension for taking part in UFC 229 post-fight brawl which cost him $50,000. Back in 2018, Mcgregor crashed a UFC 223 media day and attacked a bus transporting UFC fighters including Khabib which resulted in many injuries and bout cancellations. Aftermath he literally paid for his mistake.

According to the Irish Mirror, the police is investing Mcgregor for assaulting a loudmouth fan inside a Marble Arch pub in the Drimnagh suburb of Dublin, Ireland on Saturday night.

A source close to the matter said: “Irishman was being a show off in the pub and one man didn’t like it.” That source said the unnamed man approached Conor “to have a word with him.”

Another source said things escalated when a fan mocked Mcgregor for getting battered from the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. That’s when the fistfight started.

Gardai, the Irish police force confirmed that they’re investigating the Marble Arch pub probe.

One local punter told Irish Mirror that brawl ensued inside the bar.

“There was a bit of a commotion, he [McGregor] was acting the mick and there was an incident.

“There weren’t many people in the bar at the time, there was drink involved.

“The man that was allegedly assaulted is from Ballyfermot and drinks in the pub a good bit.”

This news outlet also reported that Mcgregor was in Dublin at that time after attending an amateur fight night in Green Isle Hotel in Clondalkin.

Another source from Twitter (@TalkMMA) first reported this news:

At the end of last month, the Newyork Times also reported Mcgregor is under investigation for sexual assault allegations in Ireland.

Recently Conor Mcgregor announced his retirement from MMA, but a few days after he teased a return to the Octagon. It’s still unclear when and who he’ll fight next but rumors are that a rematch with Khabib could be on the line.
