“The victim and the defendant were exiting the Fountainbleau hotel and the victim attempted to take a picture of the defendant with his cell phone. The defendant slapped the victim’s phone out of his hand, causing it to fall to the floor. The defendant then stomped on the victim’s phone several times, damaging it. The defendant then picked up the victim’s phone and walked away with it, depriving him of it. Victim stated the phone was valued at $1,000. The defendant was located and arrested.”

According to Mcgregor’s lawyer Irishman fully cooperated with law enforcement regarding an incident.

“Mcgregor was involved in a minor altercation involving a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr. McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation.”

That’s not the first time Mcgregor faced charges. Back in April of 2018, McGregor stormed the Barclay’s Center with his members of entourage at UFC 223 media day activities hurled a metal dolly through the bus window transporting UFC fighters back to the hotel which caused several injuries and cancellation of few fights.

Currently, Irishman is serving a suspension handed by Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for taking part in UFC 229 post-fight brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov back in October 2018. He’s eligible to return to Octagon by April.

Mcgregor is linked to fighting Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, but according to UFC president Dana White, this fight is far from done deal. Later the news emerged that Mcgregor wants to fight in the main event the reason this fight is delaying.

It looks like this fight is in jeopardy again, as an immediate future of Mcgregor is in hot water and Cerrone has an option to face Al Iaquinta next.
