Henry Cejudo is the latest fighter to call out Conor McGregor.
The retired ‘Triple C’ is no stranger to teasing his return to the Octagon. Cejudo has been calling for title opportunities and bigger paychecks ever since he left the sport in May 2020. And as you know, there is no grander payday than Conor McGregor.
It’d take him a while but after showing interest in fights with Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway at 145, Cejudo now has Conor in his crosshairs. He doesn’t want to take on the UFC superstar at featherweight, but at lightweight instead. Sheesh.
Cejudo Judges McGregor’s Boxing
The call-out would come after Cejudo offered some boxing tips to the expert striker. McGregor is just getting back to basics after months of recovery time. But, Cejudo would be harsh in his criticism, despite the circumstances.
“Your hands are down and your distance is off,” Cejudo criticized a video from McGregor. “Stay away from them yes men. Just a tip from the [GOAT].”

‘Triple C’ Makes A Callout
There was more where that came from. Like a 1-2, Cejudo would follow up on his first shot to deliver more trash talk to McGregor. He says he’d stop the Irishman at the lightweight limit.
“The same reason why you let people chew that front leg @thenotoriousmma is the same reason why I would stop you.” Cejudo wrote on Instagram. “What do you say I make my comeback at 155? @danawhite #therealhistorymaker.”
History
McGregor has yet to respond, but this isn’t the first time Cejudo has talked mess about his fellow two-division UFC Champ. They’d get into a hilarious exchange of words back in January, where McGregor called Cejudo ‘a little fart’. And yes, that actually happened.
And it’d happen again on Friday.
“Shut up U Little fart.”

It looks the exchanges they throw at each other will only be on social media and not inside the cage. Because let’s be honest, this fight isn’t happening in the UFC. The chances are dim, but hey, we’ve seen some crazy fights inside the Octagon through the years. It’d be cool to see though.
