Conor McGregor’s road to recovery is almost complete.
Putting In The Work
It hasn’t been easy for the former two-division UFC Champion. He’d break his leg last July against Dustin Poirier. Since his surgery, Conor McGregor has been working hard to get back to 100%. He’d even put on some pounds in his time away from the Octagon.
Focusing more on weight training, ‘The Notorious’ has created quite the physique in his UFC layoff. He might not be ‘Mr. Olympia’, but he’d give bodybuilding icon Arnold Schwarzenegger a shout.
“What’s up, @schwarzenegger! 😃” McGregor wrote on Instagram.
‘A Distant Memory’
Bulking up isn’t the only thing McGregor has been doing lately. He’s also back to his roots… boxing. The UFC star has put on the gloves once again and so far it’s going good for him.
McGregor would give a health update to go along with it. He says his leg injury will be a ‘distant memory’.
“Day 3 back boxing without issue! Soon this injury will be a distant memory on my Martial Arts journey. No one has a road without bumps – but winning is about a positive attitude and determination and hard work. I am back and only getting better.”
