Influencer boxing has become a hot commodity in the combat sports world. Most popular social media personalities stick to fighting people with similar in-ring experiences, but Hall is looking to change the game later this year.

Hall is a 23-year-old with 6.6 million Instagram followers and millions more on other social media platforms. In June 2021, he competed in the influencer boxing scene, losing against Austin McBroom by a third-round TKO.

Despite lacking a lot of experience, Hall has announced he plans to compete in bare-knuckle boxing later this year. BKFC president David Feldman confirmed the 23-year-old wants to fight without the gloves, which needed clarification because the promotion once showcased influencer boxing matches with gloves

On Thursday, June 22, Hall appeared at the BKFC 45 weigh-in for promotional purposes. Perez, a possible opponent for the 23-year-old’s debut, approached the social media personality and slapped him. Despite accusations of the altercation being scripted, the video went viral and started building hype for Hall’s transition to bare-knuckle boxing.

Before attempting to land a fight against Hall, ‘The Cutman’ has business to take care of on Friday night. At BKFC 45, Perez looks to extend his 2-0 (2 KOs) promotional record with a win against Phillip Ryan Carroll, who is 0-1 in BKFC.

The event will take place inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. In the main event, Luis Palomino plans to defend his 155-pound title against James Lilley.

Who is Bryce Hall fighting in his BKFC debut?

It’s unclear who Bryce Hall will fight in his BKFC debut. With that said, there is a strong possibility that Gee ‘The Cutman’ Perez could get the call. Once the news broke about Hall wanting to compete in bare-knuckle boxing, reports began spreading about the 23-year-old wanting a legitimate fighter with BKFC experience, making Perez a solid candidate.

Perez furthered his chances by releasing a callout video, gaining some traction on social media. It also helps that Hall will likely be in attendance at BKFC 45, where ‘The Cutman’ plans to secure his third knockout in the promotion.

According to BKFC president David Feldman, Hall is expected to make his bare-knuckle debut during the summer.
