Andrew Tate once broke an ex-UFC fighter’s ribs during a sparring session.
Andrew Tate Breaks Former UFC Fighter’s Ribs
Tate, who has quickly become one of social media’s biggest stars, actually has a background in mixed martial arts (MMA).
He’s an ex-kickboxer with a professional record of 43-9. Tate also took a couple of fights in MMA, one in the amateurs, and another professional, winning both.
Both of those fights came in 2010. One of those bouts came against Luke Barnatt, who would go on to compete in the UFC. The pair had a fight and later sparred with one another.
In their sparring session, Tate landed a flush kick to Barnatt’s body, dropping him, visibly in pain. It was later determined that the kick actually broke Barnatt’s ribs.

Given his combat sports background, and his social media fame, Tate has been discussed as a potential next opponent for Jake Paul inside the boxing ring.
While no preliminary talks have been held, Tate hasn’t shot down the possibility. Paul’s last fight with Hasim Rahman Jr., which was scheduled on for August 6, was later cancelled due to apparent weight issues on Rahman Jr.’s end.
Paul has been hunting down a new fight ever since, and given Tate’s superstardom on social media at the moment, the potential draw for such a fight may be too much for Paul to pass up.
