Alex Volkanovski hinted at an unlikely matchup next.

UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski is coming off a decisive third win over Max Holloway in the co-main event of UFC 276. Volkanovski cemented his status as the better fighter after a close second fight that many felt could’ve gone either way. He extended his win streak to 22 maintaining a spotless record in the promotion.

Alex Volkanovski reveals if he’d fight Logan Paul

In an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, “The Great” revealed that he would be willing to fight YouTube sensation, Logan Paul. An outing between the two could make for a big payday for the 145 lb champion and he’s down to make it happen.

“I’d make a lot of money and that so yeah, 100 percent.”

The hosts had informed Volkanovski that they were on friendly terms with UFC president Dana White. He asked them to ring up White and put in a request to let him leave for one match against Paul.

“‘You said you know Dana White so get him to let me go for one fight under my contract and we’ll be good.”

Paul had called out Paddy Pimblett

Prior to Volkanovski’s interview, Paul had expressed interest in competing in the UFC and identified one star with whom he’d be able to put on a blockbuster show.

In an April appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Paul called out Paddy Pimblett for a fight.

“I have found out who I would like to fight if I did a UFC match. Paddy the Baddy (Pimblett). They say he is the next Conor McGregor right, he is super charismatic and entertaining as hell. He is on the come-up and young like me and has a real loud mouth. I like the way he can perform.

“It’s the only thing I don’t know if I would win, he is a good a** fighter and I have never had an MMA fight. If I am doing it obviously I think I am going to win. But now I am looking at it and if I do a UFC fight then I have to do it with someone else who can sell tickets so I think the fans will eat that s*** up.”

While White may not be fully against the idea, it’s unlikely we’ll get to see Logan Paul in the UFC anytime soon.
