Paddy Pimblett is not hesitant to consider Logan Paul as a future opponent.
Pimblett is currently on a four-fight win streak with two of his latest wins coming in the UFC. He made a successful debut with a first-round knockout of Luigi Vendramini last September. ‘The Baddy’ returned to action against Rodrigo Vargas for his second showing under the banner. Pimblett would make a comeback in the fight to take home another first-round finish in front of a roaring home crowd at UFC London earlier in March.
He was called out recently by Logan Paul, who claimed he would handily dispatch him in the UFC.
Paddy Pimblett down to fight Logan Paul
In an interview with Seconds Out, Paddy Pimblett talked about potentially facing the YouTube sensation in a fight. The 27-year-old Englishman is confident he’ll come out on top of the bout despite the weight difference.
“He knows who the boy is, he knows who the face of the UFC is now, and it’s me. I don’t care, lad, what weight he wants to fight.
“I’d fight him at 185, probably get him down to 175 or something. I’d fight him at that but I’d fight him at 185 and f**king snap his leg forward or knock him clean out, lad. “
Pimblett believes he would get on well with Paul in person
Pimblett doesn’t believe Paul would carry the same energy in person but respects the callout.
“The fact that he’s even got the balls to say sh*t like that, he’s got balls. I don’t know if he’d say it in person, we’ll see.”
The fan-favorite Scouser believes he would get on well with Paul and was scheduled to get on a podcast with him. He remains open to doing so in the future and extended an invitation for Paul to come on his show as well.
“We would yeah, we probably would get on in person. I think I was meant to go on his podcast at one point, lad. We would get on.”
Pimblett said that he’d be willing to have Logan Paul on his podcast. However, his dream guest would be Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool FC’s manager.
